Crowns

A crown is a small cap that covers a cut tooth or molar. A crown is always custom-made and suits your other natural teeth and color. It is full ceramic (porcelain) or porcelain (ceramic zirconium-oxide) fused to metal. The reasons choosing for a crown are divers. It may be that your tooth has been lost for the greater part due to tooth decay which left too little to support a filling, or because you think a crown to be the best option for you. A broken tooth can also be provided with a crown in situations when a build-up out of composite is impossible or not advisable.
